Shadeland services the entire Northland region with the Whangarei South team servicing from Whangarei to Dargaville and down to Matakana.

Shadeland began as Canvasland Te Tai Tokerau, and in 2022 we rebranded to Shadeland to better communicate our expanded range of high-quality shade and weather protection products. Our roots trace back to our sister company, Canvasland in Levin, ensuring that every product we offer is built to withstand the tough Northland coastal conditions.

From Vision to Reality in Northland

Our story started during a memorable fishing trip in the Bay of Islands, where lifelong friends Daniel & Tamar Taitoko (current owners of Canvasland Levin) and Graeme Peter envisioned bringing top-quality New Zealand-made products to the North. This vision came to life when Canvasland Te Tai Tokerau was established in 2020, and we've been growing ever since.
